Young people shouldn't face complicated, costly legal challenges alone.

Hope for the Vulnerable

The Youth Justice Center is a non-profit law firm in Virginia Beach, VA, where homeless and at-risk youth find hope in the form of expert legal counsel, aid, education and advocacy.

We believe every American, regardless of age or privilege, should be protected under the law. But even the simplest administrative tasks can be overwhelming. For the poorest young members of our community, hiring an attorney for the bigger, more drawn-out processes is just not possible.

We're a new nonprofit, and we want to be certain we serve real needs, without duplicating services already available. So we are currently in our "listen and learn" phase.

But we are sure about one thing. Young people deserve supportive legal advice and representation when dealing with our legal system. If they can't afford it, we plan to help.
